The Top Stolen Motorcycles of 2009

The numbers are out, and believe it or not, motorcycle theft is down 13 percent in 2009. According to a press release from the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB), 56,093 motorcycles were reported stolen last year in the United States, down from 64,492 reported in 2008. - Honda – 13,688 stolen
- Yamaha -11,148 stolen
- Suzuki – 9,154 stolen
- Kawasaki – 5,911 stolen
- Harley-Davidson – 3,529 stolen
The Top Five States with the Most Motorcycle Theft Activity
- California – 6,273 reported stolen
- Texas – 5,526 reported stolen
- Florida – 5,009 reported stolen
- North Carolina – 3,045 reported stolen
- Georgia – 2,067 reported stolen
